Grubbs, Contracting Officer, (703) 767-8465 The Ships' Bunkers section of the Specialty Fuels Division is holding three, one day each Pre-Proposal conferences for RFP SP0600-96-R-0114 (not yet issued) in support of bunker fuel requirements in the following areas: West Coast includingHawaii/Guam/American Samoa; Great Lakes including Mississippi River; North East and Middle Atlantic coasts including Allegheny and Delaware Rivers. Locations of these conferences are scheduled in the cities of Boston, MA; Cleveland, OH; and SanFrancisco, CA. Dates are scheduled as follows: 26, 31 July and 02 August 1996 respectively. All interested parties are invited to attend the conference(s) of your choice. Each conference will further discuss the Government's initiatives concerningcommercial contracting processes/solicitations, centralized payments of ships' bunker invoice payments, magnetic strip card processes and implementations, and Electronic Commerce/Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
