Nichols, Contracting Officer, 301/227-5130 The Defense Mapping Agency has a need for construction services to remove and provide 12.2kv switchgear equipment located at Erskine Hall, Bethesda, Maryland. Project addresses reconfiguration of feeders, breakers, relays, pull boxes, cabling, ventilation fans, and ductwork. Specific phasing plans must be followed such that electrical services to the building will be continuous throughout the installation of the new switchgear. An on-site visit by all bidders is highly encouraged due tothe location, security, and configuration of the facilitiy that might affect executuion of the project. Due to strict security requirements, all contractor personnel shall be U.S. citizens. This is a 100 percent small business set-aside. Project is estimated to be between $500,000 adn $1,000,000.
