Robinson, Contract Specialist, (703) 814-4917. The Federal Bureau of
Investigation, (FBI) Laboratory Division, Washington, DC is soliciting
proposals for a Labor-Hour, non-personal service contract for eight
(8) former FBI and/or current International Association for
Identification Certified Latent Fingerprint Specialist/Examiners. The
primary functions to be performed under the terms listed are: all work
will be performed using FBI provided materials and other required
resources; the latent fingerprint specialist/examiner must serve as a
instructor, lecturer, advisor and expert witness in the forensic
discipline pertaining to the processing, developing, evaluating and
comparing of latent prints or other related work; the contractor must
be familiar with and comply with the FBI, Laboratory Division evidence
control policy and all Latent Fingerprint Section rules and
regulations; will prepare court exhibits and testify relative to
examinations conducted; perform the processes and procedures used in
obtaining identifiable inked prints from the hands and feet of unknown
deceased persons and disaster victims; may be required to use
computerized equipment for informational searches, tracking cases, and
conducting latent print searches against computerized inked print
files; must be able to lift items weighing up tp 75 pounds; must be
able to work under laboratory conditions wherein he/she could be
exposed to contagious diseases; wide variety of toxic powders and
chemicals; noxious fumes, confined areas, laser and alternate light
