R -- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION, MARINE CORPS SWIMMING POOLS AND AQUATICS OPERATIONS Contact Tamara Oliver, Contracting Officer, 703/784-6360, FAX 703/640-7291. This is a U.S. Marine Corps, Morale, Welfare and Recreation Support Activity (MWRSPTACT), Procurement Support Office Request for Information only. The MWRSPTACT does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. The MWRSPTACT is interested in receiving information on lifeguards, labor and the maintenance necessary to safely operate and maintain the swimming pools. Specific information is requested on: Current industry program designs and trends (type of patron programs offered, e.g., aquatics fitness and aquatics lessons for all ages); Current industry trends in the areas of lifeguarding and staffing (based on a variety of aquatic facilities and programs); Current certification requirements; Contractor supervision services for programs; Contractor operation and maintenance services for swimming pool facilities; Contractor services in design and/or redesign of aquatics programs; General pricing information for the Contractor to provide the above stated services to the MWRSPTACT (not membership fees); Contractor interest in providing services to the MWRSPTACT in regard to Marine Corps Swimming Pools and Aquatics Operations; and any specific conditions, requirements, or guarantees the MWRSPTACT would have to meet to obtain Contractor services in regard to Marine Corps Swimming Pools and Aquatics Operations.
