T -- PUBLICATION AND DISTRIBUTION/PUBLIC RADIO SERIES POC Katherine Kudrewicz, Contracting Officer, 703-305-8324 The Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) intends to award a sole source contract for a six-month period of performance, to WKSU Radio, Kent, Ohio. This contract will provide the PTO with publication and distribution of a public radio series to be aired on National Public Radio (NPR) Affiliates across the country in support of the mission of the PTO, Inventure Place and the National Inventors Hall of Fame, in Akron, Ohio. Kent State University operates WKSU and is the only NPR affiliation for the Akron metropolitan area. The production of this radio series will need to be done on location. Any source outside of the metropolitan Akron area would incur substantial transportation expenses and therefore be cost prohibitive. PTO will award this action on a sole source basis to WKSU Radio.
