Work includes construction of a new 12.47/7.2 kV outdoor switching station and removal of an existing 12.4 kV switching station. The work also includes the upgrade of approximately 1.2 miles of existing 12.47/7.2 kV overhead distribution and the installation of approximately 1,500 feet of new 12.47/7.2 kV overhead distribution. The work also includes installation of three pole-mounted isolation switches and modification of the existing remote breaker control panel. Estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Pursuant to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, this solicitation is classified as unrestricted. Requests for copies of this proposed procurement should be submitted in writing, state the solicitation number, and provide complete name, address, phone number and business size of the requestor. Additionally, requestors should indicate whether they intend to bid as a prime contractor, subcontractor or supplier. Telephone and telefax requests for copies of the solicitation or bidder's lists will not be accepted. Requests should be received as soon as possible in order to facilitate mailing of same, to the extent copies are available, directly to the inquirer at time of issuance. Availability of the solicitation is limited and will be furnished on a first received first served basis. Requests received later than 10 days prior to the established bid opening date may not be honored due to lack of sufficient time to obtain additional copies should demands for same be substantial.
