Work includes, but is not limited to the following: (1) Removal of existing transformer and old link box with new switchgears; (2) Provide new aboveground concrete pads for pad-mounted switchgears and transformer; (3) Provide associated cables and hardware, provide trenching, concrete encasement, underground ducts, backfillling, clean up and disposal of debris, testing of the new systems, (4) Additive bid item - Switch Station ``F''; replace old exterior padmounted medium voltage switchgear and associated wiring with new switchgear and wiring. Project magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 and $500,000. The performance period will consist of a 90 calendar day mobilization period, followed by a 210-calendar day construction period. This solicitation will issue on or about 3 Jul 96, with bid opening projected to occur on 6 Aug 96. A nonrefundable fee of $35.00, payable to the United States Department of the Treasury, is required for each solicitation requested. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis; thus, all responsible firms are encouraged to furnish their Federal Express, DHL, or Airborne Express account numbers with their requests to expedite delivery. This solicitation is a straddle bid to be funded with FY 96 funds, if available, or with FY97 funds. A bid acceptance period through 30 Nov 96 is required. (163)
