Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate with Sikorsky Aircraft
Corporation for the installation of a Crash Survivable Flight Incident
Recorder (CSFIR) in the VH-3D and the VH-60N aircraft. The CSFIR shall
consist of a Voice and Data Recorder (VADR), Signal Acquisition Unit
(SAU), Cockpit Control Unit and sensors and wiring for the CSRIR
interface to the aircraft. Sikorksy Aircraft is the designer, developer
and sole manufacturer of the VH-3 and VH-60 aircraft and is the only
known company capable of performing this effort within the required
