58 -- AIRCRAFT WIRELESS INTERCOM SYSTEM SOL USZA22-96-R-0041 DUE 070996 POC Mr. E.J. More, Contracting Officer. United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has a requirement for up to 358 systems with a 100% option for Commercial Off-The-Shelf Aircraft Wireless Intercom Systems (AWIS) operating in the military UHF frequency band. AWIS will be used for communications between crew members on the following Air Force and Army aircraft: MC-130E, MC-130H, HC-130P, HC-130N, AC-130H, AC-130U, EC-130E, MH-153J, MH-60G, MH-60K, MH-60L, MH-47D, and MH-47E. USSOCOM intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Communications Applied Technology, Reston, VA for deliveries of eight (8) test articles beginning in December 1996, delivery of production systems and associated training, spares, and repair parts.
