Procurement of playground equipment; crawl tunnel panel, 1 each; bean
bag panel, 5 each; tree bean bag panel, 5 each; turtle sand table, 5
each; sound chime panel, 8 each; bead and block panel, 8 each; sand and
water panel, 20 each; water play set, 5 each; playshaper preschool
system (four sides), 2 each; playshaper preschool system (three sides),
2 each; paint panels, 25 each; toddlertown, 4 each; and infant maze, 2
each. All playground equipment must conform to published guidelines
and standards for safety, accessibility requirements of national
criteria safety; Published by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety
Commission (CPSC), 1991 Public Playground Handbook for Safety, and The
Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, (ADA). No
substitutes/exception to minimum criteria is acceptable. Accepted
product material: Made of permalene; high-density comperssion moded
polyethylene. Tender-deck coating process: Twelve gauge carbon steel
that is preassure washed in phosphate cleaner, followed by a primer
that serves as a bonding agent, and then tender-tuff coated. (This
maximizes adhesion and durability.) Open piece, flange-formatted steel
decks that fit tight to pose (support structure) and are flush with
the outside edges. Stainless steel studs pressed into underside of
decks to improve safety and durability. One-fourth (1/4) inch deck
perforations; keeps small children from finger injuries, and right for
water drainage. All external securing clamps are made of strong
die-cast aluminum alloy, and fasteners are recessed to eliminate
protrusions. Interest contractors must request a copy of the
solicitation in writing. Facsimile request will be accepted. Telephonic
