B- The U.S. Department of Education intends to award a five-year contract to conduct a Longitudal Evaluation of School Change and Performance (LESCP) to identify and evaluate the implementattion of Title I and related education reforms. The evaluation will examine Title I elementary schools and track impacts of the legislation on both instructional practice(in reading and mathematics) and student achievement. Request solicitation RFP-96-034. Anticipated issue date: July 5, 1996. Closing date: August 5, 1996. A pre-bidders conference will be held in Washington, D.C. on July 19, 1996.
