Request is for one unit as a base bid with three optional additives for (4) smaller units. This is considered a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32. Estimated cost is between $20,000 - $60,000. Units are to be ''SST'' Technology Ventilation System designed by the U.S. Forest Service to eliminate odors inside the building; Item #1 to be a double traditional (wood/cedar) restroom; Optional additive Items #2 (2 ea) & 4 (1 ea) to be sandstone single traditional restrooms; and Item #3 to be concrete extended single split face restroom. Restrooms to be handicap accessible and meet ADA requirements. Item #1 to be delivered in kit form or pre-assembled to Fort Smith, Montana; Optional items to be delivered in kit form or pre-assembled to Lovell, Wyoming. Bidders must provide product information to include all technical, construction, material, and design or engineering data for evaluation, along with the bid. Bid packages may be requested as of July 08, 1996. Anticipated award date is July 26, 1996. Completion or delivery date for Item #1 to be within 30 days of bid acceptance; Optional items to be delivered within 30 days of bid acceptance. All bids should be valid until October 15, 1996. The provisions in the FAR at 52.212-1, Instructions to offerors; at 52.212-2, Evaluation; at 52.212-3 Offeror Represenations and Certifications; at 52.212-4, Contract Terms & Conditions; for Commercial Items, will all apply to this acquisition.
