HUMAN EXPOSURES TO AIR POLLUTANTS SOL D600458M1 POC Kelley Holton,

919-541-2125. This is an ongoing program to support EPA in the
development and performance of a comprehensive QA auditing program for
complex and diversified experimental systems used to measure the
effects of air pollutants on humans. The contractor will (1) perform
regularly scheduled audits using EPA approved procedures, (2) support
EPA in the development of new audit techniques, (3) support EPA in the
modification of existing audit procedures, and (4) on short notice,
conduct nonscheduled audits on new or existing equipment. The
contractor will perform audits of gaseous pollutant, aerosol,
environmental, and physiological data acquisition subsystems of EPA's
clinical research facilities. Therefore, offerors must be knowledgeable
in both air pollutant measurement methods and medical measurement
instrumentation. The period of performance is 60 months, consisting of
a base year and four 12 month options. The solicitation will be issued
approximately 7/8/96, and proposals will be due approximately 8/7/96.
This procurement is a total small business set-aside with a SIC Code of
8748 and a size standard of $5M in average annual receipts over the
last 3 years. This requirement is a follow-on to contract number
68D10153 with Zedek Corporation which expires 9/30/96. The Government
does NOT intend to use FAR Part 12 for this acquisition. Interested
parties may obtain a copy of the solicitation by submitting a written
request. A limited number of copies are available. Only one copy shall
be issued to a corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests
from one or more different geographic locations. Copies will be issued
on a first come, first serve basis. Firms must identify their size
status when requesting a copy of the solicitation. Firms who fail to do
so shall be considered to be large businesses. A copy of the
preliminary source list will be issued to all prospective offferors
along with the solicitation. A separate request is not necessary. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
