ACQUISITION REFORM INDUSTRY ROADSHOW FOR SMALLER BUSINESSES: BOSTON, MA JUNE 25-26, 1996 AND HONOLULU, HI JULY 22-23, 1996 The office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition) is sponsoring a series of RoadShow, two of which will be held in the following locations: 25-26 June, Renaissance Bedford Hotel, MA and 22-23 July, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Honolulu, HI. These events offers business (subcontractors and suppliers) an opportunity to learn how acquisition reform affects the way they do business with the Department of the Navy. The RoadShow will provide information on acquisition reform goals; how acquisition reform is changing; and provide instruction to participants on relevant DoD topics such as: Electronic Commerce, DoN Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization: How to do business with the Navy, Past Performance, Performance Specifications and Standards, Performance-Based Statements of Work, Defense Acquisition Deskbook, FASA, and much more.
