S -- VACCINE DISTRIBUTION SOL 96-15(N) DUE 083096 POC Contact Charlotte Flitcraft, Contract Specialist at (404)842-6553 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requires services for Vaccine Storage and Distribution to States and Private Providers. Currently, CDC has contracts with five vaccine manufacturers to purchase 17 vaccines with the potential of purchasing additional vaccines as they are developed. The successful contractor will purchase vaccines against current CDC contracts, provide private storage in a privately operated facility for a minimum 90-day supply, receive orders, fill orders and package and ship orders to State and Private Providers in such a way as to preserve the cold chain. The anticipated contract will be for a base performance period of one year with one option to extend the term for an additional year. Contract type is anticipated to be firm-fixed price for the shipment of the vaccines to the providers and to be a cost-reimbursement type for the initial vaccine inventory and replacement vaccines ordered by the contractor.
