W -- LEASE OF PREFABRICATED MODULAR BUILDINGS SOL N00146-96-R-0039. The Naval Aviation Depot, MCAS, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for the lease of a modular building. The lease period shall be for the period of one year inclusive of two one-year option periods. The modular building specified will be used as office space for approximately 26 people each with a desk, file cabinet and personal computer. The building shall be constructed to meet or exceed the minimum requirements of the North Carolina Building Code. The frame shall consist of hitch, axles and I beams as required to transport the building. The frame shall be constructed to support any loads imposed during transportation. The frame shall also be constructed to support the building's dead, live and environmental loads, specified in the North Carolina Building Code once the building is set on the existing concrete pad.
