The work consists of the partial demolition and complete disposal of pier deck, structure, piles, utilities, systems and fittings necessary to shorten the Alameda Gateway Timber and Concrete Piers by approximately 200 and 300 linear feet, respectively. In addition, the work shall include utility shut-off, termination and restoration, as well as, reinforced concrete repairs of the concrete pier and the design and construction of new permanent longitudinal bracing for the concrete pier. Request for plans and specifications shall be in writing to be received not late than June 27, 1996. Cost is $8.00, those who have already sent a check for the Plans and Specifications under solicitation number DACW07-96-R-0008, which has been cancelled, will receive a copy of the Plans and Specifications for this solicitation, unless otherwise notified.
