Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, tools, layout work, engineering, management and supervision necessary to provide for installation of new asphalt concrete, asphalt concrete overlay work, patching of asphalt concrete, raising/lowering valve boxes and manholes, installation of drainage pipe, priming, and mucking. Also included is the installation, removal, replacement and patching of cement concrete pavement, curbing, gutters and drainage structures for maintenance. This is an indefinite quantity contract for the period of one year with a guaranteed minimum amount to be ordered of $25,000.00, plus provisions for 2 option periods. A bid bond and performance and payment bonds are required. The proposed contract listed is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with telephone numbers, points of contact, and contract numbers), statement indicating bonding capability, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as SDB concerns. Bid opening date is approximate. Requests for copies of this solicitation should be received by the issuing office not later than 10 days of listing of this synopsis in the Commerce Business Daily.
