Work consists of removal of asbestos-containing materials by a state of Florida-licensed asbestos abatement contractor, and removal of lead-base paint from the buildings in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations governing asbestos and lead-base paint abatement in the state of Florida and Eglin AFB FL. Removal, demolition, transportation and disposal of the buildings, complete including all foundations, appurtenances, equipment and utilities above and below ground, removal of existing bituminous and concrete entrance walks, removal of all existing HVAC, fire detection and plumbing equipment, including equipment associated with existing gas piping, removal of all existing electrical service lines, equipment figures and wiring, removal of existing telephone equipment and wiring, and filling of all holes and other depressions resulting from building demolition. Performance period is 210 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $500,000 and $1 Million. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
