Near beach quality material (as specified in the contract plans and specifications) encountered between Cut-2, Sta. 150+00 and Trident Turning Basin Sta. 12+00 will be placed in the nearshore disposal area (or near nearshore disposal area per Optional Bid) and all other material will be placed in the designated offshore disposal area located approximately 9 miles from the project site. Project work will be done by clamshell on barge with barge haul to the ocean and nearshore disposal areas. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
