Project consists of all material, equipment, labor, and supervision to repair and maintain runway at Volk Field CRTC, Camp Douglas, WI. Work will include, but not limited to: repair of cracks in asphaltic concrete (AC) and portland cement concrete (PCC) pavement. AC Pavement repairs consist of 1500 SY pf partial depth removal and replacement, 24,000 LF of crack routing, cleaning and sealing, and 110,000 SY of AC pavement slurry sealing. PCC crack repair consists of 500 SY of full depth pavement removal and replacement with reinforced PCC pavement and 12,000 LF of concrete joint seal removal, cleaning and replacement. Repainting of airfield markings consists of applying 12,000 SF of reflective airfield markings consists of applying 12,000 SF of reflective airfield markings. Magnitude of project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Construction time is tentatively scheduled for 6 OCT 96 - 20 OCT 96. Bid opening date will be o/a 1 Aug 96.
