Z -- 750 KW GENERATOR INSTALLATION SOL N62472-96-B-6325 POC Allison D. Tibbetts, Purchasing Agent, (207) 259-8242. It is the declared and acknowledged intention and meaning of this solicitation to remove two 500 KW diesel engine generators and removal of associated controls, ancillary equipment, and provide one new 750 KW 480V, diesel engine generator, associated power and control wiring and devices, and modifications to the existing main control switchboard in the Control Room. The new generator shall be paralleled with the power plant's five existing 3000 KW main diesel engine generators. The contractor shall provide coordination, inspection and testing of the systems installed by use of an independent contractor. See specification Section 16951 for these specific requirements. All work to provide new piping and equipment serving the new generator shall be provided under this contract and incidental related work.
