70 -- SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE POC Contact Judy McPhail, (309) 782-8586, Contract Specialist The Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Illinois institute of technology research institute (iitri) to renew the following software maintenance for the period 01 Aug 96-31 July 98: 1 each, program management and control system (PM/C) running on a sunmicrosystemssparcstation 1 + (SS1) Model 4/65 workstation. The database manage-Ment system (dbms) utilizes Informix software Inc. Dbms version 4.1. Informix software packages currently loaded and utilized include SQL,4GL, I-net TCP/IP, and SE. Software maintenance to include technical maintenance support services, PM/C system manual revisions, telephonemaintenance, programming and interfacing services. A one year option for the period 01 Aug 97-31 July 98 shall be included. Other interested firms able to meet these requirements are invited to submitresponses, but only in writing with clear and convincing documentation to Rock Island Arsenal, Attn: Siori-CTA, Judy McPhail, Rock Island, IL 61299-5000. Responses shall include firm-fixed price (individualmonthly charges per item and extended total amounts per month, prices are to include all travel and per-diem charges), technical experience of the contractors employees, including past contracts for same, CER tification of ability to support software products listed. Minimum qualifications of individual or individuals who perform the actual dbms maintenance support duties required are: Two (2) years experi ence in dbms maintenance and administration utilizing Informix SQL and 4 GL software operating under a UNIX based environment, two (2) years experience with the sunos version 4.1 or later operating system, to include actual management and operational experience with the system, two (2) years experience working with sunmicrosystems sparcstationworkstation, and two (2) year experience with client/Server software development tools, which includes but not limited to, visual basic version 4.0 and Crystal reports version 4.5.
