Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for a Data Acquisition System which shall have A/D card, computer, monitor, keyboard, storage drives and any other hardware contained in one unit. Unit shall be portable and weigh less than 30 pounds, and shall have a SCSI port for transfer of files from the DAS to back-up devices. A/D conversion shall be done on a single A/D card so the imagery signal and the two trigger signals are properly synchronized. A/D minimum requirement on the imager signal are: 500,000 samples/second, 16 bit verticle resolution/sample, 1MByte/second and a voltage range of -5 to +5 volts. A/D minimum requirements for the horizontal trigger signal are: 250,000 samples/second, 8 bit vertical resolution, and a voltage range of 0 to +12 volts. A/D minimum requirements on the vertical trigger signal are: 250,000 samples/second, 8bit vertical resolution and a voltage range of 0 to +12 volts.
