72 -- SCHOOL LOCKERS AND ATHLETIC LOCKERS POC Contact Mrs. Inge Seymour, 011 49 6134 604 701 The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) European Procurement office intends to competitively award a Firm Fixed Price requirements contract for wall lockers and gym lockers for various schools in Europe and is seeking sources/information for the following: The lockers can be stand-up or wall mounted. The lockers should be made of heavy duty metal, minimum 1 mm thick, exclusive of paint finish, and should be welded at seams/frames. Locker dimensions should be as follows: (+/- 20%) height: 900 mm, width: 300 mm, depth: 500 mm. The lockers should have 1 coat hook made from heavy duty metal welded to the inside back of the locker. The full length of the wall locker should have a smooth finish, heavy duty/braced access door with heavy duty locking mechanism compatible for use with padlocks. A recessed locking mechanism is preferred. The full length of the gym lockers should have a grid type pattern to allow for ventilation. The paint finish must be non-toxic both inside and out. A variety of colors must be available for both type lockers. Installation and repair may be required. All interested parties should submit literature which describes the locker they offer in some detail. This information will be used by DoDDS to formulate a brand name or equal requirement.
