NNMC's goal is to redevelop Stoney Creek to a pre-urbanized condition, reduce storm water surges, and to put NNMC in full compliance with the 1987 Clean Water Act Amendments (CWAA) section 302- water quality. Contractor shall provide technical support to NNMC in three areas Task 1 - Application of the Rapid Stream Assessment Technique (RSAT), or equivalent method to evaluate stream conditions on approximately one total stream mile with the Stoney Creek watershed. Task 2 - Evaluation of existing storm water management systems at NNMC. Develop a comprehensive evaluation of the function, type of pollutant(s) removed, required operation and maintenance (O&M), and recommended upgrades or improvements of these systems. Task 3 - Development of a technical watershed management plan (including existing and future storm water management systems) which comprehensively addresses potential stream restoration, storm water management, reforestation, improvements for fish habitat and wetland creation opportunities in the Stoney Creek watershed area. This task shall include site location, drawings of the proposed systems, a priority ranking system and detailed cost estimates for each project type.
