Romary, Contracting Officer (301) 342-3752. The Naval Air Systems
Command, Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for integration of
a Global Positioning System (GPS), Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and
Flight Data Recorder (FDR) into all Navy and Marine UC-12B, UC/RC-12F
and UC/RC-12M series aircraft. The requirement is to be completed
within 12 months of contract award. Task orders will be issued to
Raytheon Aircraft Company under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)
N00019-96-G-2011. Specific services to fulfill this requirement shall
include: procurement of prototype ''B'' kits (purchase of GPS, CVR and
FDR units); develop, design and fabricate integration ''A'' kits;
prototype the systems in designated aircraft; ground and flight test
the integrated systems and obtain Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
Type Certificate Amendment approval. Anticipate integration of Ground
Proximity Warning Systems (GPWS), Angle of Attack (AOA) and Traffic
Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) in all C-12 series aircraft. All
tasks will require access to design and production drawings, which are
proprietary to the original equipment manufacturer, Raytheon Aircraft
Company. A sole source award under the circumstances of FAR 6.302-1 is
