The Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp located in Three Rivers, Texas is soliciting and intends to make a single award to an eligible contractor to provide medical services. Location of the succesful offeror must be located within a one hundred (100) mile radius of Three Rivers, Texas. The successful offeror shall provide all necessary inpatient and outpatient services at their location, and/or at the institution to all federal inmates who are housed, either temporarily or permanently, in these Bureau of Prisons facilities. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price, requirements type contract with a base year from date of award through twelve (12) months with the possibility of four (4), one (1) year option periods, if exercised. The following specialists and the number of estimated on-site visits, defined as a one (1) hour session, will be requested for the base year and each option period. The quantities and specialties represented are estimates only and are not a representation to an offeror that these quantities and specialties will be required or ordered or that conditions affecting requirements will remain stable or normal: Orthopedic Surgeon, 120 sessions; Neurologist, 60 sessions; General Surgeon, 120 sessions; Ophthamologist, 168 sessions; Cardiologist, 84 sessions; Urologist, 168 session; Internal Medicine, 84 sessions; Dermatologist, 84 sessions; Ear/Nose/Throat, 60 sesions; Gastroenterologist, 60 sessions; and Psychiatrist, 168 sessions. The estimated quantities for inpatient and outpatient services for the base year and four (4) option years are as follows: BASE YEAR - outpatient visits, estimated maximum, 300; inpatient days, estimated maximums, 150; OPTION YEAR #1 - outpatient visits, estimated maximum 325; outpatient days, estimated maximum, 175 days; OPTION YEAR #2 - outpatient visits, estimated maximum, 350 visits; inpatient days, estimated maximum, 175 days; OPTION YEAR #3 - outpatient visits, estimated maximum, 375 visits; inpatient days, estimated maximum, 200 days; OPTION YEAR #4 - outpatient visits, estimated maximum, 400 visits; inpatient days, estimated maximum, 200 days.
