PY'94 Reroofing, Asbestos Abatement and Piping Replacement at the Albuquerque Job Corps Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The work to be performed under this project involves removal of the existing metal roof from two areas of the gymnasium and installation of a new standing seam metal roof with catwalks for mechanical equipment and roof insulation. Asbestos abatement and reinsulation of piping in the administration/dormitory buildings ''A and B'', pipe tunnels under floor and above the lay-in acoustical ceilings and in the cafeteria building ''C'' above the lay-ins acoustical ceilings. The installation of new lay-in ceiling is required. The replacement of control valves in building ''B'' for the heating system. The construction of an above ground gasoline tank containment of reinforced concrete. The estimated construction cost range is $100,00 to $250,000. The estimated completion time is 228 calender days. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges. A pre-bid walk-thru is scheduled July 26, 1996, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
