Work includes but is not limited to painting walls, gypsum board ceilings, trim, doors and frames; movement and protection of furniture and equipment within the building. Demolish partition walls and replace with new partition walls; demolish selected finishes including vinyl asbestos floor tile/adhesive/underlayment and install new interior finishes; demolish portions of the building electrical distribution system, lighting system w/fixtures, HVAC system, plumbing system w/fixtures and replace with new systems; modify existing fire detection system, install new fire suppression system to portions of the building. Demolish portions of both loading docks. Enclose one dock, install finishes, electrical power wiring, lighting system, heating system and doors. Install exterior stair on other dock. All work to be performed under a single lump sum firm fixed price contract in strict accordance with the contract documents. The solicitation package will be available o/a 8 July 1996. A non-refundable charge of $22 will be required to obtain this solicitation. Checks should be made payable to DAO/DE, Dobbins ARB. The performance period is 150 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). This solicitation will be issued under full and open competition.
