20 -- BOAT DAVIT HYDRAULIC SYSTEM SOL DTCG40-96-B-30026 POC Contact Brenda Thomas, (410) 636-4298/Contract Specialists, Mary Jo Staron, (410) 636-4343/Contracting Officer The information in Line 17 is corrected to read as follows: The U.S. Coast Guard YARD has a requirement for nine (9) boat davit hydraulic systems. This contract will be a two (2) year Definite-Quantity, Indefinite-Delivery type contract, with a base quantity of one (1) boat davit, with an option to buy eight (8) more. The first unit is due 75 calendar days after date of award of the contract. The contractor shall furnish the hydraulic systems, NSN 2030-01-LG4-8757, MIL-I-45208A, which shall consist of an electric motor driven hydraukic power unit, two (2) hydraulic power winches, rotary actuator for boom rotation, control console, motor controller, boom/adapter coupling, and associated technical documentation. The hydraulic system shall control the handling of a small boat and cargo. The system will be installed on a 140 FT. ICEBREAKER TUG. The term of this contract is two (2) years beginning with date of award. The contractor is not responsible for the installation. THIS IS NOT A COMMERCIAL ITEM. Deliveries shall be F.O.B. Destination. Government testing will be conducted at the U.S. Coast Guard YARD, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, Maryland, 21226. Bids are expected to be issued late-June.
