Equipment is required to install VEDA PCM decommutation hardware and operate a 8mm PCM tape recorder and associated hardware/software for use on board test aircraft. NASA intends to issue a purchase order via other than full and open competition to DOLCH Computer Systems under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This will be a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Request for Quotes are being requested and no solicitation will be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation No. E01558D. Solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. This procurement is intended to be 100% set-aside for small business. The standard industrial classification code is 3571. Small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The small business competitiveness demonstration program is not applicable. Items shall be delivered FOB Destination to NASA Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards, CA 93523. Delivery date 8/30/96. No other brand shall be considered.
