81 -- TO MANUFACTURE AND PROVIDE METAL OUTER CONTAINERS FOR THE 120MM BATTALION MORTAR SOL DAAE30-96-R-0086 DUE 073196 POC Contact Sheela Lopez, 201-724-4825/Contracting Officer, Carol A. Klapal. The US Army ARDEC intends to procure 29,391 metal containers to be used as the primary outerpack for the 120MM Mortar Cartridges. The contractor shall manufacture, inspect, test, package and ship the metal containers in accordance with the performance requirements of the Statement of Work. This requirement will include two options. The option quantities are estimated at 40,000 units maximum for 1997 and 57,500 units maximum for 1998.
