The object of this effort is to simulateand measure the response of nuclear and space radiation on the electronic hardening techniquesfor semiconductor devices. The effort consists of the following major tasks: Physics ofRadiation Response of Electronics, Analytical Modeling and Experimental Assessment ofRadiation Effects on Electronics, Radiation Hardening of Electronics, and Radiation TestDevelopment for Electronics. This work may require the contractor to recommend to thecontracting officer the need for subcontracts to semiconductor manufacturers to obtain samples ofspecially processed devices.
