Cultural Resource, Scenic, and Transportation Assessment Project, Coconino National Forest, Sedona Ranger District, Sedona, AZ. Request for Proposals to provide a Cultural Resource, Scenic, and Transportation Assessment for Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, AZ. Cultural Resource Assessment includes documenting prehistoric and historic resources, land status records research, and a literature search. Work will be accomplished in accordance with field survey standards of ``General Requirements for Conducting Archaeological Survey on the Coconino National Forest.'' Scenic and Transportation Assessment are to be accomplished in accordance with ``Scenic Byways'', Guidebook, US DOT, Federal Highway Administration. Work includes background research, field work, synthesis of all resource date, participation in planning meetings and development of a Scenic Corridor Management Plan. Estimated start of work is October 1, 1996. All assessments should be complete by September of 1997. Other scope items may occur until June 1997.
