D -- RELEASE OF FTS2000 SDP ACCESS AREA NPA-NXX INFORMATION Contact Contracting Officer, Barbara R. Norsworthy, (703) 610-2805. The Federal government currently satisfies its intercity telecommunication requirements through the Federal Telecommunications System 2000 (FTS2000) contracts. The contracts expire in December 1998. To provide for telecommunications services in the post-FTS2000 environment, the government intends to release a final request for proposals (RFP) for Telecommunications Services (TS) (draft RFP KEF-95-BN-000A), in the near future. In March 1996, as part of the post-FTS2000 acquisition, the government publicly released detailed FTS2000 traffic data in machine-readable form. The traffic data included combined Network A and Network B FTS2000 traffic projections for years 7, 8, and 9 of the FTS2000 contracts, for the following services: Switched Voice Service (SVS), Switched Data Service (SDS), Packet Switched Service (PSS), Compressed Video Transmission Service (CVTS), Dedicated Transmission Service (DTS). The traffic data did not include FTS2000 SDP access area NPA-NXX information. The government now intends to release publicly the FTS2000 SDP access area NPA-NXX information.
