Harvey (205) 235-7558 (Site Code DAAC01) Time and materials contract for remedial maintenance of Sciaky Welders located at the Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL 36201, for the period 17 August 1996, through 16 August 1997, with option to extend for four additional years. This will be a negotiated procurement with only one source, Ferranti Sciaky Inc., 4915 West 67th Street, Chicago, IL 60638, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This proposed contract action is for follow-on remedial maintenance services of highly specialized equipment. Ferranti Sciaky, Inc., the original equipment manufacturer, holds proprietary data rights to the equipment. They are the only known source that is authorized and has the capability to perform complete repair services as required. Firms that recognize and can service the Sciaky Welders are encouraged to identify themselves within 15 days from the date of this publication, and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer which would permit their participation in the current or future solicitations.(0172)
