NOTICE: The Missouri National Guard desires a firm fixed price
construction type contract for the installation of a 14 point outdoor
small arms range. Construction location is Rosecrans Memorial Airport,
139th Airlift Wing, St Joseph, Missouri. Work consists of furnishing
all material, labor and equipment for the construction of the 14 point,
small arms range to include site work, utilities, bullet trap, baffles,
firing point, latrine and target storage room. Bidders have the option
of providing new stainless steel plates for the firing points and
baffles or re-utilizing the existing stainless steel plates in the
existing 8 point firing range which was damaged during the 1993 flood.
Existing range has not been touched since the 1993 flood and all work
within this facility must be handled with care and precaution. This
project does not include the demolition of the existing small arms
range. All work is to be performed in strict accordance with
specifications and drawings. The performance period is 120 calendar
days after receipt of the notice to proceed. Estimated magnitude of
construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Estimated bid opening
date is August 15, 1996. There is a $10.75 non-refundable deposit per
set of specifications and drawings. The non-refundable deposits must be
in the form of a cashiers check, certified check or money order made
payable to the US Treasury. company and personal checks will not be
accepted. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be
