Contracting Officer The Federal Aviation Administration requires the
construction of concrete foundations for the modified ASR-9 Steel Tower
at the Rochester International Airport, Rochester, New York. The
estimated procurement is between $150,000 and $300,000. The above
referenced solicitation will be supplied to the following companies:
JoJa Construction, Ltd., Albany, NY, Railroad Construction Co., Inc.,
Paterson, NJ, J. Schouten Construction, Englewood, CO, and Gem
Engineering Co., Houston, TX. If you are interested in becoming a
pre-qualified vendor for future projects of this nature, please submit
a letter of interest to the Federal Aviation Administration,
Fitzgerald Federal Building # 111, JFK International Airport, AEA-55A,
Jamaica, New York 11430. The FAA plans to start work on this project
in September 1996. A questionnaire will be forwarded to those above
mentioned contractors that/and will be utilized in determining the
firms most qualified to perform this project. The FAA may accept the
lowest priced offer without discussions, however, discussions and/or
negotiations may be conducted with these firms to determine the
contractor offering the best value. Contract award will be to the
