This requirement is to improve the reliability and maintainability of existing Halon extinguishing systems serving the Control Room and Motor Control Center/Switchgear Room in the Control Center/Office Buildings at the Strategic Petroleum Reserve's Bayou Choctaw, West Hackberry, and Bryan Mound facilities. The existing halon control systems, fire alarms systems, devices, and wiring will be modified and upgraded, and includes replacement of a pair of doors at each site. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. SOL will be issued on or about July 23, 1996. A non-refundable deposit of $35.00 per set of plans and specifications is required.
