The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision to construct new paved roadway consisting of approximately 1,000 linear feet of 20 foot wide asphaltic concrete pavement and 375 linear feet of 24 foot wide asphaltic concrete pavement with the new stabilized grass parking area. An existing limerock roadway is to serve as a portion of the roadway base. The perimeter of the existing limerock roadway is to be excavated, widened, sub-base compacted, base material placed, and compacted providing a 21 foot and 25 foot wide roadway base. Roadway perimeter swales are to be grades with ditch block and partially sodded with seed and mulch as swale stormwater retention systems. A paved turnout is to be provided into the concession service drive. Clearing and grubbing with limited tree removal will be required for the project. The estimated cost of construction is between $50,000.00 and $100,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 7/11/96. Bid oening is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. (EDT) on 8/1/96.
