Z -- ALTER/REPAIR CONTROL TOWER, PROJECT NO. TMKH 90-1018A/B Sol F31601-96-B0009, Due 081396, POC Mr. Isaac L. Coley, SR, 910/394-6277, Contracting Officer, Mr. Martin M. Honan, Jr 910/394-6599. This project consists of furnishing all operations to Alter/Repair Building 241, Control Tower, Pope AFB, North Carolina. Construction required includes selective demolition and renovations including but not limited to asbestos containing material and lead based paint abatement, masonry work, rough and finish carpentry, structural steel and foundation work, new windows, doors and frames installation, suspended acoustical ceilings, floor and wall coverings, the addition of two new floors, a new roof, new exterior insulation and finish system for the entire building, fire protection system and fire alarms, improved electrical distribution and power systems, new lighting, new communication wiring, installation of a new underground steam line, improved plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This proposed acquisition will be issued unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
