61 -- REPLACE VOLTAGE REGULATORS ON SAM RAYBURN POWERHOUSE GENERATOR UNITS SOL DACW63-96-B-0070 DUE 082296 POC Contract Specialist MELANIE M HUBBARD (817) 334-3114 (Site Code DACA63) The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, plant, and equipment to perform in strict accordance with the detailed requirements of specifications, all the work necessary to prepare drawings and installation plans, to manufacture, to shop test, and deliver f.o.b. destination to Sam Rayburn Power Plant two excitation system replacements. Work shall include removing existing regulator equipment, installing the new static excitation system, field testings, setting and testing operating parameters, and making completely operational, two complete Static Excited Regulators with digital mode for automatic voltage and VAR control and an independent analog base mode for backup automatic operation and a manual mode for backup manual operation and testing of the Sam Rayburn Generators one and two. The static systems shall provide control, protection, indication and monitoring functions for the two hydro electric synchronous generators within the Sam Rayburn Powerhouse. There will be a $40.00 charge for the solicitation package. Check should be made payable to: Finance and Accounting Officer USAED FTW. Solicitation will be issued on or about 23 July 1996 with bid opening on or about 22 August 1996. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
