65 -- ACCESSORIES FOR 3M LASER IMAGING SYSTEM SOL 575-80-96 DUE 081296 POC Judy Ousley, Purchasing Agent, 970-244-1305 or Bonnie Holloway, Contracting Officer, 970-244-1307 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Grand Junction CO intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for 2 each 3M Image Acquisition Managers and 1 each 3M Digital Disk Reader with 2 internal optical disk drives. This equipment is open market but will be included on a delivery order against a FSS contract for the main system, a 3M DryView 8700 Laser Imager. We believe that this equipment, and only this equipment, will interface with the 3M Dryview 8700 Laser Imager to complete the functional, fully operational, integrated laser imaging system which will satisfy this medical center's requirements. Additionally, sole source procurement is required to ensure the warranty of the main system is not jeopardized and that future maintenance contracts can be awarded to one vendor for the entire system. Any offeror purporting to be able to furnish the requirement in accordance with the conditions stated herein must submit a written response demonstrating such capability by August 12, 1996.
