The Library of Congress has a requirement for three (3) Thermotron
Model SE-600-3 or equal Controlled Temperature-Humidity Test Chambers.
These chambers must provide the following features: Temperature range:
-40 to +177 deg Centigrade, relative humidity range: 20 to 98 percent,
internal chamber size of at least 21 cu. ft., maximum footprint 15 sq.
ft., one piece unit, that is no supplementary units either
free-standing or attached to side to conserve space, capability for
placement with back against wall, programmable controller for
temperature and humidity control and repeated ramp up or down at
desired time intervals with enough memory for at least 30 steps,
on-board floppy disk to enable copying of programs from one oven to
another, RS-232 Port, software for IBM compatible PC to provide full
control of test chamber condition and data logging capability, interior
light, casters, heated inner window, 2 access ports at least 4 inches
wide with plugs at least SS shelve, SS interior, environmentally safe,
EPA-acceptable, non-toxic and non-explosive refrigerant, alarms for
violation of out-of-tolerance condition, operable at 208 volts without
any additional transformer, equipped with a water chamber for
maintaining independent humidity control without any other water
supply, as well as with connection to the house, wickless control,
without any float tank value, top exhaust for hot air, which can be
ducted away, UL listing and built-in self-diagnostics. Solicitations
