Scotti, Contracting Officer, (703)697-6257 Maintenance of Government owned Defense Telecommunications Service- Washington (DTS-W) hardware system for the Defense Telecommunications Billing System (DTBS). This procurement is restricted to Small Business firms, SIC 7378. The Defense Supply Service-Washington (DSS-W), on behalf of DTS-W, intends to procure a maintenance contract for hardware of the DTS-W Billing System. The base contract will be awarded for FY97, with four, one year options. The main hardware consists of VAX 6520 located at the Pentagon, and the VAX 3100 located at Rossyln, VA, with additional hardware to support the system listed in the solicitation. The DTBS must remain operational on a 24 hour per day, 365 days per year basis. The Principle Period of Performance is Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM. For emergency or remedial maintenance outside the principle period of performance, the contractor shall bid on a fixed hourly rate up to a four hour maximum per call. The base contract shall be for a period of performance from 01 October 1996 through 30 September 1997. Maintenance personnel must have a SECRET security clearance at time of award. This solicitation will not be issued any earlier than 15 days after publication in the CBD. Interested offerors shall send a written request to the above address.
