A -- REOPENING OF N00039-96-R-0049(Q) - DEVELOPMENT OF RFE FOR SLVR WITH PRODUCTION OPTIONS SOL N00039-96-R-0049(Q) POC Ed McGinnis, 02-33, 703-602-0599. Synopsis No. 56. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command will reopen N00039-96-R-0049(Q) on or about 28 June 1995. The solicitation will be amended to reflect changes in the specification and sections L&M of the RFP, and will remain open for 30 days. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3663. --Qty: 550 (including all options). Potential offerors must possess a SECRET clearance 30 days after award. This RFP Amendment 0002 will be transmitted through the SPAWAR Bulletin Board System (BBS). The RFP Amendment 0002 will only be available by calling the SPAWAR BBS, (703)602-9494, and downloading the RFP Amendment 0002. The Bulletin Board operates at 14,400 BAUD with a setting of 8:N:1. The RFP Amendment 0002 will be in WordPerfect 6.0 or MS Word 6.0 format. The file will be compressed by a shareware program, PKZ204G.EXE. To download this RFP Amendment 0002, the prospective offeror will need at a minimum, PC or MAC with modem emulation software that supports VT100 or ANSI standing, a modem that operates between 300 bps - 14.4K bps and a minimum of 1.5 MEG free disk space. Prospective offerors are required to supply the name and address of their company, the Point of Contact's name and phone number on the on- line questionnaire in order to be placed on the RFP's Bidders List. All others are also requested to optionally provide answers to a questionnaire on electronic contracting. Telephone inquiries for the RFP Amendment 0002 will not be honored. Offerors who would like a copy of the RFP Amendment 0002 must access the bulletin board. The bulletin board will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
