Business Daily (CBD) synopsis no. 48, published 21 May 1996, discussed
the release of Draft RFP #2. It requested responses by not later than
31 May 1996. Due to schedule changes, the due date for responses is
hereby extended to 28 June 1996. CBD synopsis No. 48, published 21 May
1996, also stated that release of the final RFP in June 1996 is
planned. Due to delays in signature of the Subphase 2 MOU, the final
RFP will now be released no earlier than July 1996. There are many
factors which impact the decision to release the final RFP, and thus it
is difficult to provide more specific information. These factors
include MOU signature, Subphase 1/Subphase 2 personnel status, status
of Subphase 1 validation efforts, etc. We will provide more specific
information when available, via the SPAWAR Bulletin Board System (BBS)
under the file name NILEDATE.DOC (see synopsis no. 48 for more
detailed information regarding the BBS). This file will be periodically
updated to provide current schedule information for the Final RFP.
