SOL 52SBNB6C9109 DUE 080596 POC Trena Bercaw (301) 975-6324 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement to become a member of an existing consortium which performs research and infrastructure development with a technical focus on the manufacturing of electronic information products that connect to information networks. The consortium membership shall consist of major U.S. original equipment manufacturers, major suppliers, and other government and non government entities, with a compelling interest in the technology research to be conducted. This membership shall be for three (3) years. It is the intent of the Government to negotiate with National Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (NEMI), Arlington, Virginia, under 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), as the only responsible source able to fulfil the requirement of this agency.
