This modification hereby changes the date for receipt of responses (SF254 & SF255) and removes a restriction placed on the prime contractor. The response due date is changed from July 1, 1996 to not later than 4:00 P.M. PDT on July 15, 1996. In addition the following two sentences which were contained in the previously published requirement are removed in their entirety: (1) ''The prime contractor is required to perform the work set forth in items (b) technical, schedule and cost baseline development and reporting, and (f) preparing the documentation for and conduct of assessment/characterization studies,'' and (2) ''Experience of the proposed subcontractors/consultants is not allowable for these two areas.'' There will be no restriction imposed on which activities can be subcontracted for this action. All other information contained within the original synopsis remains unchanged.
